only another mechanical device

I recently rescanned this picture from my first self-developed black and white roll. It looks much better now. Can’t believe it was more than one year and a half ago. Time really flies, doesn’t it? I just wish I could learn how to avoid wasting my time. Time is so precious.

Dear Universe help me being more conscious about how I spend my time from now on.

Miss those days.

Jeremy Irons

Lately I’ve been refreshing my website, by adding a couple of new photo series and by replacing some ugly lab scans with fresh new images delivered my wonderful Coolscan. This is one of my favourite photos from my 2009 China Trip. I recently re-scanned it and wow, it looks so much better now.

Inspired by the photographist recent photos, I decided it was about time to give redscale film a shot. So I took an expired Fuji X-Tra 400 roll, redscaled it in my changing bag, loaded it on my MX (didn’t want to risk my Leica for that…) and went to the city centre for a photo shoot. I had a really fun time: it started to rain so heavily everybody went crazy! I’m gonna post more pics later and your dashboard will be flooded by tints of red :D
